Sports photography is about more than just capturing the action, and in order to capture the attention of the brands you’re wanting to work for, you’ve got to be able to tell a story. That was a realization that took me longer to realize than I would like to admit, but as soon as it clicked I was shooting Tests like this one with Aicacia to create something different. Trying different editing techniques, shooting techniques, and playing with the “in-between” images became a new focus and the main reason for this shoot. Still trying to capture some action sequences, but getting some portraits, stretching, and brand-interaction shots as well. This was a stripped down shoot with mainly one light and one modifier for the majority of the shots to move quick and capture something different.
